About CephCalc
CephCalc is a cloud office for orthodontists: lateral cephalometrics, arch biometrics, treatment planning, braces and aligners, CBCT 3D. Browser-based — no desktop install.
What this service is
It is a clinical work tool for practices — not an article catalog and not an aggregator of third-party content. You upload patient images and measurements, then get measurement tables and PDFs in one chart.

Built for clinicians who interpret the numbers themselves:

How the workflow works
A typical clinician path in CephCalc:
- create a patient and upload a lateral cephalogram, models, or CBCT
- choose a method or module (biometrics, plan, 3D)
- get a measurement table with population reference norms
- save to the chart and export PDF
Academic foundation
Cephalometric and biometric formulas follow the authors’ publications (Steiner, Ricketts, McNamara, Schwarz, Bolton, Pont, and others). Population norms change coloring and “normal / high / low” labels; method formulas are not swapped.

Responsibility
CephCalc calculates measurements and builds the report. Clinical diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention decisions stay with the clinician. The service does not replace examination, indicated CBCT, or specialist consultation.
